I am very grateful to PACE CNY for my husband’s care and it gave me a break. In 2007 I had physical therapy, I was wobbly and am still some, but I have a rollator and I had trouble speaking. PACE is very good, I see people and love to talk to everyone. PACE is good for the spirit.
Now during the pandemic I miss the Day Center, the games, activities and all the outside trips. Now McKenzie has a program on both over the phone and Zoom for short stories with discussions, bingo, trivia and I really forward look to it.
It’s hard currently with so little socialization. Way back, I was depressed most of the time. Figured this is it, I’m going to die. I just decided to change my thinking and with the help of the clinic I feel good. My son is here and takes me grocery shopping and even to the casino!
