I’m proud to say I am nearly 89 years old and with my wife, who passed away 1 ½ years ago, have had a very fully rewarding life. I was a clown in the Shriner Circus for 45 years. My wife and I were very active in many, many community organizations whose aim was to help others. I’ve known of PACE for a long time, but have only just joined the program a few months ago. I now live in the Bernadine Apartments and it was through a financial contact there, I was encouraged to look into PACE. I had polio when I was 6 months old and all my life have had some ambulation challenges. PACE has provided me with a new wheelchair and new crutches. I also have an aide assist me with personal care. I know that if there is something I need PACE is there for me. Everything about the program is great. What is especially important to me is the opportunity I have to interact with people. I love to bring happiness and smiles to others. I have never been a quitter and like to share some of my life stories with others and hear theirs. My goal in life is to be happy and do what God wants me to do.
